Program Overview

Language, Culture, and Growth

The LahBlahBl Korean Camp is a short-term, theme-based program designed to help learners gain a clearer understanding of both the language and Korean culture.

Each week centers on a specific theme, and Korean language classes are intentionally connected to activities and projects, allowing students to apply what they learn in meaningful contexts.

Weekly Theme Plan

6-Week Structure

The program runs in two identical 3-week sessions.
Themes repeat in Weeks 4–6.
Weekly enrollment available.

Week 1 & 4

Korean and Design

• Understanding the creation principles of Hangul
• Exploring the structural and systematic design of the Korean writing system
• Examining grammar and linguistic patterns
• Approaching Korean as a carefully designed language
• Weekly Presentation: Explaining the structure of Korean

Week 2 & 5

Korean and Community

• Korea’s geography and historical background
• Social and cultural characteristics of Korean society
• Language in relation to community and identity
• Discussion-based learning
• Weekly Presentation: Reflecting on Korean society

Week 3 & 6

Korean and Culture

• Traditional and contemporary Korean culture
• K-pop, arts, food, and daily life
• Cultural activities connected to language learning
• Project-based learning
• Final Presentation: Expressing personal experiences with Korea

Programs by Age Group

Elementary & Middle

Ages 8-14
Theme-based Korean classes designed to build interest and understanding of Korean through connected activities and projects.

High

Ages 15-18
Korean language learning focused on deeper comprehension, expression, and cultural context, with level-based placement.

Young Adults

Ages 18–24
A more mature learning environment for university students and young adults, emphasizing thoughtful language use and cultural exploration.

Exam Preparation

Ages 15+
Targeted preparation for TOPIK, AP Korean, and IB Korean, offered based on student needs and enrollment.
Note: Programs are organized by age group, but all students are placed in level-based groups after assessment. Beginners are welcome.
