She trained at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and the University of Michigan, and completed Ph.D.-level coursework at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Her work is shaped by both professional expertise and firsthand insight into the needs of learners and families in international education contexts.

Hyewon Song
Co-Founder · Korean Language Educator · Korean Language and Cultural Education SpecialistHyewon Song is a Korean language educator with nearly 20 years of experience teaching Korean language and culture in academic, corporate, and government settings.
She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from Korea University and completed Ph.D.-level coursework in Korean Language and Literature at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
Her work focuses on cultural education, corporate training, and test item development and assessment design.

Yunjeong Han
Co-Founder · Korean Language Educator · Lead Curriculum DeveloperYunjeong Han is a Korean language educator with over 20 years of experience in teaching and curriculum development.
She studied Korean Language Education as a Foreign Language and English Linguistics at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and completed Ph.D.-level coursework in Korean Linguistics at the same university.
Her work focuses on high-quality curriculum development, textbook design, and assessment development, as well as training programs for teachers and students.

Jihun Lee
Instructor · Korean Language Educator · Heritage Language Education SpecialistJihun Lee is a Korean language educator with over 15 years of experience teaching Korean language and culture in France and the United States.
He holds a Master’s degree in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Sorbonne University.
His work focuses on heritage language education, curriculum design, and culturally responsive pedagogy.

Bazil Manietta
Instructor · Cross-cultural Communication SpecialistBazil Manietta is a professional linguist who is fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish, and has been working in language and cultural education for the past 16 years.
They previously worked at the University of Colorado Boulder and have been employed at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies for the last 11 years.
They received their MA in Linguistics and completed Ph.D-level coursework with a focus on Korean sociocultural topics, along with a certificate in Culture, Language, and Social Practice, from CU Boulder
Bazil specializes in not only translation and interpretation, but also cross-cultural communication and believes that hands-on experience is the most effective means of achieving linguistic and cultural fluency
